A former chaplain for the Boy Scouts in Rhode Island was sentenced on Thursday to 40 years in prison after pleading no contest to charges that he sexually assaulted six young men, the authorities said the latest reckoning for a national scouting movement beleaguered by sex-abuse claims. ....

The case of a pastor banned from prison chaplaincy for 10 years will not proceed to judicial review but will be heard at a county court instead, the high court decided on Tuesday.
Pastor Paul Song, 51, a former detective, was banned from the chaplaincy after a 2018 whistleblowing interview with the Mail on Sunday in which he alleged that Islamic extremists had hijacked his chapel and Bible classes at HMP Brixton. 
In the interview, he said inmates had taken over the prison s Christian chapel and praised the killers of murdered soldier Lee Rigby. ....

JONESBORO, Ark. (KAIT) - Both Jonesboro hospitals have been busy giving out the coronavirus vaccine, and it’s almost time for the second round for many employees.
NEA Baptist Memorial Hospital and St. Bernards Medical Center have administered thousands of COVID-19 vaccines.
As of Jan. 5, St. Bernards administered over 3,000 vaccines, and NEA Baptist administered over 900.
While both hospital’s employees have had the typical immune responses such as sore arms and brief cold-like symptoms, they’re ready for round 2. ....
