That means masks are still required in most indoor and shared public settings in Sacramento County, for now. We are aware of new CDC masking guidance and will continue to follow the State of California s lead in giving us direction as to how California will implement the guidance, county spokeswoman Janna Haynes said in an emailed statement. Updated: 10:40 AM PDT May 3, 2021 KCRA Staff Sacramento County was seeking to get the word out Monday about hundreds of open appointments this week for COVID-19 vaccines.The open appointments are at the county s two large drive-thru locations at Cal Expo and McClellan Park, both of which are run through company Curative.Both locations administer the Pfizer vaccine, which is for anyone 16 and over, said county spokesperson Janna Haynes.Appointments can be made the same day, Haynes said.McClellan is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Friday and the Cal Expo site runs 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday to Friday. Appointments at the two drive-thru locations can be booked through the state s MyTurn website. ....
