The 5-9 guard from Moorhead, Minnesota, captured second-team All-Big Ten honors by averaging team highs of 16.8 points, 4.4 assists and 1.2 steals while also ranking third among the Huskers with 6.8 rebounds per game. Story Links Australian National Team guard Jaz Shelley will join the Nebraska women’s basketball team for the 2021-22 season, after completing the NCAA transfer process on Friday, April 16. Shelley, a 5-9 sophomore guard from Moe (pronounced MO-ee), Australia, will have three seasons of eligibility remaining for the Huskers. “We are extremely excited that Jaz is going to be part of our Husker family,” Nebraska Coach Amy Williams said. “We got to know Jaz really well during her initial recruiting process before coming to the United States from Australia.
