Waynesboro Record Herald Caledonia State Park in Fayetteville will have a Memorial Day weekend unlike in the past. In an ongoing attempt to hire lifeguards for its pool facility, the park posted online stating that the pool will be closed for the start of the season. Due to staffing complications, the Caledonia State Park Pool will be closed for the start of the season. Unfortunately, at this time we don t know if we will be able to open for the season. They both belonged to the same Rotary Club, the Rotary Club of Chambersburg. They both shared an affinity for sailing, especially in the Caribbean. They were both active members of the same church, the Presbyterian Church of the Falling Spring, which was formed by the founder of Chambersburg, Benjamin Chambers.
