Whether it s a hedge-fund billionaire, tech giant, industrial titan, or someone simply born into the right family, the wealthiest people in every state each have their own stories. In today s political climate, the super-rich have plenty of influence over our political process, from lobbying members of the government and contributing to presidential bids to running ad campaigns in favor of specific causes.
To figure out who s on top of each state s rich list, Forbes tracks groups of billionaires (or centimillionaires in states with no billionaires) and updates their findings annually. Stacker analyzed this data to compile a list of the uber-wealthy and then broke down how each person earned their fortune. Ochsner Medical Center West Bank expands infusion center
Ochsner Medical Center – West Bank Campus has expanded its infusion center to serve more patients.
The center is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on the second floor of the 180-bed hospital located at 2500 Belle Chasse Highway in Gretna. It treats cancer patients who require chemotherapy treatments as well as those in need of other infusions, including immunotherapy, blood products, iron infusions, therapeutic phlebotomy and IV hydrations.
The expanded facility features an open floor plan divided into three pods – each with three or four infusion chairs with a dedicated television for each and space for a visitor chair, a news release said. A variety of amenities are available including meals and snacks, warm blankets and pillows and crocheted hats. The expanded infusion center can serve up to 13 patients at one time and on average, a total of 20 to 30 patients are served each day, the re ....
