They took part in Tulsa s first Children s Naturalization Ceremony, which happened at Gathering Place Thursday.
Under the shade of the Reading Tree at Tulsa s Gathering Place, dozens and dozens of people gathered to watch 25 kids from 11 countries become citizens.

The future of the charter school movement is our young leaders. The Tulsa area charter schools are hosting a virtual meet and greet for any family interested Monday evening as a way to show what they are all about while still being COVID-19 cautious.
Monday evening from 5 to 7 p.m., Tulsa charter schools are coming together to host a completely virtual fair to showcase what charter options are available to students and parents for the upcoming school year. Anyone wanting to attend can go to tulsacharters.org to register.
There are five schools participating in the fair and there will be virtual breakout rooms for each once you get into the meeting. The schools involved are Tulsa Honor Academy, College Bound Academy, Collegiate Hall, Tulsa Legacy, and KIPP Tulsa. ....
