Stop normalizing animal cruelty
The “Diabetes quick fix recipe” for lamb curry (May 19) requires stealing a mother’s baby, cooking the baby, then eating the baby as food for diabetics. It also requires forced impregnation to produce the baby and another ingredient, yogurt.

T
o be at the margins to be homeless or nearly homeless is to constantly be navigating mazes of social services agencies, forests of phone trees and labyrinths of bureaucracy to get the help you need.
But at the Spokane Resource Center, the idea was that all anyone had to do was walk through the door, and they d have a personal guide to different services, whether that s energy assistance, resume help, or a closet full of professional clothes they could borrow for a job interview. ....

How Fox News is trying to hype inflation

As the country reopens and the economy is recovering in the wake of a historic pandemic, Fox’s purported “straight news” personalities are jumping on reports of inflation, attempting to advance a series of talking points to depict a chronic economic disaster a conclusion that is far too soon to draw as experts largely believe the effect is a temporary step in the recovery itself.
Eric Levitz of New York magazine explained that most of the price increases came from “either from reopening sectors, or from temporary supply constraints in the used-car market.” Now that more Americans have been vaccinated, these sectors have been “caught between surging demand … and inadequate supply,” as it will take some additional time to rebuild. ....

1776 Action Takes on Anti-American Education, Critical Race Theory
South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem announced recently that she is the first candidate nationwide to promise to fight action civics and critical race theory by signing the 1776 Pledge to Save Our Schools, a pledge drafted by a new patriotic education group.
The pledge that the Republican governor signed is promoted by 1776 Action, a new 501(c)(4) nonprofit founded by Adam Waldeck, former aide to former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich. Gingrich and former Housing and Urban Development Secretary Ben Carson support the group. All the major candidates in the recent contest for the Republican Party nomination for governor of Virginia also signed the pledge. ....

Republicans losing a pair of Senate seats in Georgia and widespread censorship by big-tech following President Donald Trump s election defeat in November are necessary if conservatives are to reclaim the United States.
That was just one takeaway from MyPillow founder Mike Lindell s keynote address Monday evening from inside the Mitchell Corn Palace, where more than 1,000 attended the four-hour long event filled with liberal bashing and notions that Trump was cheated out of a second term in the White House.
Every single thing that happened had to happen to get us to this beautiful place, Lindell said before predicting the Supreme Court of the United States would take action this summer to put Trump back in the Oval Office by August. ....
