Teen Gets Stuck in School Ceiling Trying to Break into Cafeteria, Police Say On 3/9/21 at 7:58 AM EST A teenager who became stuck in the ceiling of a Mississippi elementary school was arrested shortly after his rescue on Sunday night. Willie Dobbins, 19, called 911 to report that he was suspended from the cafeteria ceiling inside Frazier Elementary School in Natchez. The teenager is believed to have broken into the school in an attempt to make off with a stash of money stored in the roof before he became stuck, Natchez Police Chief Joseph Daughtry told the Natchez Democrat. However, the heist quickly turned into a rescue when officers from the Natchez Police and Fire Department were dispatched to the scene just before 9 p.m.

Bullet holes were found in the front windshield of a 2004 Nissan in addition to other parts of the surrounding apartment building. Two victims were transported to Merit Health in Natchez where one was later released and the other was transferred to UMMC in Jackson.Police said several people were involved in the shooting.On June 18, 2020, Jameco Davis was arrested in relation to the shooting. He was charged with two counts of attempted murder, shooting into an occupied dwelling and shooting into an occupied vehicle. On June 19, 2020, Karon Cade surrendered to the Natchez Police Department. Cade was charged with two counts of attempted murder and shooting into an occupied vehicle.On July 1, 2020, Omari Issac was arrested in relation to the shooting. He was charged with two counts of attempted murder and shooting into an occupied vehicle. Investigators said the fourth shooter was Cameron Washington. Washington currently has three active felony warrants for his arrest. Investigators said anyone caught harboring or aiding Washington could be subject to criminal charges, and he should be considered armed and dangerous.His mother, Caronda Washington, received a $20,000 bond for her arrest for helping her son. She has since been bonded out.The Natchez Police Department is seeking help from the community. On June 6, 2020 officers responded to a report of shots fired on Old Washington Rd. Officers found damage to a parked 2004 Nissan in front of an apartment building with a possible bullet hole in the front windshield. While officers were at the scene they were notified of two gunshot victims at Merit Health Natchez. One of the victims was treated locally and released. The other victim was transported to UMMC in Jackson.
