Actor Mark Ruffalo left many shell-shocked when he shared that he no longer saw Israel committing genocide against Palestine.
The actor posted took to Twitter to share his view which came as a shock as he was very vocal about the Palestinian cause.
I have reflected and wanted to apologise for posts during the recent Israel/Hamas fighting that suggested Israel is committing “genocide”, he wrote.
It’s not accurate, it’s inflammatory, disrespectful and is being used to justify antisemitism here and abroad. Now is the time to avoid hyperbole. ....

German travel vlogger Christian Betzmann has cleared the air after he caught heat for his insensitive stance on the Israel-Palestine issue along with his eyebrow-raising comments on Pakistan.
Taking to his Instagram Story, he posted a series of comments regarding the entire situation which he said was a lie .
First of all this is not an apology. It’s funny how people twist things to get clout, he said.

Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias says that the positions of Turkey and the Turkish-Cypriot side leave little ground for optimism as regards the prospects of the informal five-party conference on Cyprus, to be held in Geneva on 27-29 April.

In any kind of street combat, fighting on the ground for an extended period can put you in a world of hurt. Although grappling has proved its effectiveness in controlled environments such as the
dojo and the cage, itâs very different on the streetâfor several reasons. First, you can grapple with only one person at a time, which means you commit yourself to a single threat. Obviously, that exposes you to any additional threats that may exist.
Second, grappling occupies both your hands. If youâre a police officer carrying a gun, knife or Taser, that can pose a weapon-retention problem. While youâre using your hands to control the attacker, he can let go with one hand, remove your weapon from your belt and use it against you. (Many times Iâve overseen drills in which cops have role-played suspects and arresting officers, and the officersâ guns were removed without their knowing it way too often.) ....
