Man United 3-1 Burnley: Marcus Rashford destroyed James Tarkowski with skill

Manchester United closed the gap to Manchester City at the top of the Premier League table to eight points with a 3-1 victory over Burnley on Sunday afternoon.
A brace from young sensation Mason Greenwood and a stoppage-time strike from Edinson Cavani sealed victory for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side in what was a fairly entertaining encounter.
Greenwood's first goal came right at the start of the second half, with a beautiful dummy from Bruno Fernandes allowing the Englishman to fire home from close-range in the box.
Burnley levelled the scores in the 50th-minute through James Tarkowski, who headed home from a corner after some lacklustre marking from the United defenders.

Bailly: Manchester United in contract talks with defender – Solskjaer

Solskjaer revealed he has no problems with the centre-back and confirmed United are negotiating with the Ivory Coast international over a possible contract renewal.
“Eric has played well when he’s played. I know there has been speculation. We are talking to him about his contract. I don’t see any issues with him,” Solskjaer said in a pre-match press conference.
Solskjaer also confirmed Bailly has returned to England after testing positive for Covid-19 on international duty with the Ivory Coast.
The Norwegian tactician revealed the defender had another test on Friday and hopes he will be available for selection when his side take on Burnley on Sunday.

Frenchman Allan Saint-Maximin came off the bench to turn the game around for lowly Newcastle United as they came from behind to earn a vital 2-1 Premier League win at Burnley on Sunday.
Burnley had led through an 18th-minute goal from Czech striker Matej Vydra and were well on top before substitute Saint-Maximin changed the game inside seven minutes with an assist and a goal.
The result will ease the nerves of Newcastle fans whose team are now six points above Fulham, who occupy the final relegation spot. Steve Bruce’s side, in 17th place, also have a game in hand and are...

Southampton's Ings joins Keane, Defoe and Bony in hallowed Premier League ranks

First, Stuart Armstrong reduced the deficit in the 31st minute courtesy of an assist from Ings. In the goal-laden first half, the 28-year-old levelled matters for Ralph Hasenhuettl’s men.
With that, the England international joined the list of players who have found the net on four uninterrupted occasions against former employers.
Ings' run began on July 19, 2020, when he scored once in Southampton's 2-0 win at Bournemouth. He followed it up by scoring the Saints' only goal in their 1-0 away defeat of Burnley on September 26.
On January 4, 2021, he silenced another former team, Liverpool. His second-minute strike was all Hasenhuettl’s team needed to defeat Jurgen Klopp’s men 1-0.

Arsenal are pondering a move to bring Glen Kamara back to the club this summer, according to a report.
The Rangers midfielder has enjoyed a superb season north of the border and Rangers are looking to tie the former Dundee man down to a new deal. Gers have sealed their first Scottish title for 10 years and Kamara has played a starring role with 28 appearances. Kamara does have over two years remaining on his Ibrox deal, but such has been his impact, Steven Gerrard wants him tied to a new deal.
