Cop From NJ Died Of Strokes After Capitol Hill Riots: Reports

WASHINGTON D.C. – The cause of death for a police officer, a New Jersey native, who succumbed after the Capitol Hill riots was released on Monday, reports say.
Capitol Police Officer Brian Sicknick had several strokes hours after he battled with a pro-Trump mob during the Jan. 6 riot and died of natural causes, according to The New York Times.
The autopsy also found no evidence that Sicknick had an allergic reaction to chemicals but the medical examiner, Francisco J. Diaz, told The Washington Post: All that transpired played a role in his condition. ....

All visitors must be sponsored to be allowed on the installation
A Defense Department Identification cardholder must sponsor all guests. Sponsors must possess a Common Access Card, Dependent ID, Retiree ID, Reserve ID, Veterans Health Identification Card, or a Defense Biometric Identification System card (DBIDS) with escort authority. Sponsors must provide a valid reason for base access when requested, and the duration of the pass is based on that valid reason.
Long-term Visitor’s Passes are issued at the Pass & Registration Center (PRC) or Large Vehicle Inspection Site (LVIS)
The PRC is open 7:30 a.m.-4 p.m., Monday-Friday, closed on all major federal holidays, U.S. Air Force Academy Family Days, and subject to delayed reporting during inclement weather ....

PENNSYLVANIA – The FBI arrested two men, one from Pennsylvania, and charged them with assault against U.S. Capitol Police officer Brian Sicknick, a New Jersey native who died after he responded to the Jan. 6 riots and takeover attempt at the U.S. Capitol.
Sicknick, who grew up in South River, NJ was among several officers who died or were injured in connection to the riot (two officers committed suicide after the riots). Five rioters died in the takeover. ....
