Why do we need ‘mega-sites’ for vaccinations?
I think it is great news that our federal government is continuing to inject large sums of our tax dollars for something useful, namely, increasing the production of COVID-19 vaccines. I see that Florida is due to have four mega-sites constructed in major population cities to vaccinate our citizens. If that simply means that Florida is getting more vaccine, that s surely a good thing. 
I do not understand the concept of these mega-sites. Why not use the brick-and-mortar businesses already in place, businesses with pharmacists on-site? We have hundreds of Walmart, Publix, and Walgreens locations in Florida, and many, if not most, are capable of vaccinating people. Heck, they are already giving flu, shingles, pneumonia, and any number of other vaccinations on a daily basis. These sites are pretty much in every town in the state. Why isn t this a better concept than building the meg ....

In the final days of his long life, S. Prestley Blake wanted to talk business and that business was Friendly’s.
He had a telephone conference set with Craig Erlich, the new CEO of the Friendly’s restaurant chain.
Blake was excited to talk about the future of the company he and his brother Curtis founded in 1935, his wife Helen Blake shared in the wake of his death on Feb. 11, at the age of 106. ....
