The United States had 47 recessions from its inception to the present. From 1937 to 2020 there were 14 recessions and depressions within 83 years, but their frequency was reduced by governmental regulations lately. Now they are easier to predict: the last recession before the pandemic was 13 years ago, prior to that 7 years ago, before that 10 years ago, before that 9 years ago. So, because of the U.S. government’s modern-day intervention, we can expect the Wall Street bankers to drive themselves into bankruptcy, so we, the people can bail them out with our tax money about every decade. Wednesday, January 13, 2021 - 5:25 pm AKWESASNE The Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe’s Emergency Operations Center (EOC) is reporting five new cases of COVID-19 today (Wednesday, Jan. 13), which makes 18 total active cases under the Tribe’s jurisdiction. None of the community members already infected have resolved since yesterday, the Tribe said in a press release, leaving 67 still in quarantine. The new cases can be attributed to household spread, where once the virus is introduced into a household it continues to spread to other members of the same household, said the Tribe. It requires members, often family members or housemates, to isolate themselves until released by a public health official. ....
