th day in office today, Family Research Council is releasing a new resource, Tracking the Biden Administration, that reports President Biden has made at least $479.9 billion available that can subsidize abortion and abortion businesses – more than 19 times the level set under President Obama.  
Biden s $1.9 trillion COVID-19 relief package made $467.8 billion available for abortion and abortion businesses. By comparison, within President Obama s first 100 days, he had signed a stimulus bill that included $24.7 billion in subsidies for employer-sponsored plans that cover abortion. On Friday, April 16, the
National Institutes of Health (NIH) announced the disbanding of the independent ethics board that reviews applications for federal funding for projects that use fetal tissue.
“This notice informs the extramural research community that the
Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) is reversing its 2019 decision that all research applications for NIH grants and contracts proposing the use of human fetal tissue from elective abortions will be reviewed by an Ethics Advisory Board,” the NIH notice stated.
HHS overturns policy put in place during Trump administration
In disbanding the ethics board, the HHS essentially overturned a policy put in place under former President Donald Trump. That policy halted all internal NIH research using aborted fetal tissue and severely restricted outside fetal tissue research funded by taxpayers. ....

WASHINGTON, April 14, 2021 /PRNewswire/  For years Speaker Nancy Pelosi has refused to allow the House of Representatives to vote up or down on the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act (H.R. 619). Family Research Council is urging Members of the U.S. House of Representatives to sign onto a discharge petition filed today by Rep. Kat Cammack (R-Fla.) to force the Speaker to allow a vote. In the 116
th Congress, the discharge petition received 205 signatures of the required 218, 191 of those signatures coming on the first day.  
Currently 36 states have at least some born alive protections.
