HUNTINGTON â Huntington Police say an arrest early Thursday led to the seizure of drugs, firearms and cash. Kevlin âSmevâ Jackson, 40, was arrested by members of the Huntington Police Department on Thursday morning, in the 1000 block of 8th Street, for delivery of a controlled substance. That arrest, police say, led the cityâs Violent Crime Drug Task Force and ATF agents to Jacksonâs residence on the 1200 block of 7th Street, where police were able to obtain a search warrant. The search yielded two firearms, 48 grams of cocaine, 14 grams of crack cocaine and $9,000 in cash. Jackson received additional charges of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and being a prohibited person with a firearm after the execution of the search warrant.

We are a small team just trying to do something different for Stratford and the locals was the plan. My food is also very niche and personal. We were never going to go mainstream and be just another tourist place. The ideas was to do something really special and stand out.
HUNTINGTON â While the latest winter storm has already passed through Huntington, the city is still responding to ongoing crisis caused by the ice and snow. During a Huntington City Council meeting Monday night, Mayor Steve Williams gave an overview of the cityâs response to the three consecutive storms Huntington was hit by in the past two weeks. Williams said 42 employees from the cityâs Public Works Department worked for 11 days straight responding to the ice storms. He said 94 trees were removed from public roads, including six trees that fell overnight and were removed Monday morning from Mallory Court. Williams said 20 trees were removed from roads after the first ice storm on Feb. 11 and 68 trees were removed last week after the second ice storm on Feb. 15.

Andrew has joined the brewery to help relaunch and manage the variety of food offered within their managed pub estate. He has spent his entire chef career in Michelin Starred kitchens, initially training at the prestigious Mallory Court, Lords of the Manor and L Enclume, before moving to the Curlew restaurant in East Sussex where he achieved a Michelin star in the 2014 guide. He represented the central region on BBC2 s Great British Menu in 2016 and then moved into the world of food development and customer experience at Miele, a global appliance brand as head development chef.
RALEIGH, N.C. -- Raleigh homicide detectives have made an arrest after a woman was shot and killed in Raleigh earlier this week. Police said Andrea Elizabeth Lucas, 56, was found suffering from gunshot wounds Wednesday night in the 4700 block of Mallory Court. Lucas was taken to WakeMed but died from her injuries.
