A visible case of breakthrough infection involves the New York Yankees. Multiple members of the team s traveling party, including one player, tested positive for COVID-19 though all had received the Johnson & Johnson vaccine.

Where you can get it right now is the mass vax sites at UB and in Niagara Falls and the county health departments. This week, Wahlgreens at multiple locations has Pfizer, said Nielsen, acknowledging the need to get the vaccine to make the vaccine more accessible.  She pointed out some of the obstacles.
Remember that Pfizer is the one that requires the ultra-cold storage so the usual doctors offices are not going to have it at this point, Nielsen explained. ....

Governor DeSantis Monday made moves to strike down the few remaining coronavirus restrictions enacted by Florida counties and municipalities, and again touted Florida s record on the pandemic. But data on the state s health and economy released this week suggests the sunshine state s recovery is lagging behind the pack.
The approach here is Florida leading the way, again, because I think there s some states going a different direction, Gov. DeSantis proclaimed Monday as he signed a law banning  vaccine passports, and announced executive orders tearing down any locally passed coronavirus restrictions. ....
