Lehigh County’s district attorney revealed several people were accosted by the armed gunman who fatally shot a man at a Wawa, then later shot himself.
A news release Wednesday from District Attorney James Martin says Za Uk Lian, 45, of South Whitehall Township pointed the gun at a crowd of people, then confronted two people to try to take their vehicles after he allegedly shot and killed 31-year-old Ramon Ramirez.
The release says Lian arrived at the Wawa on Route 100 in Upper Macungie at 4:48 a.m. on Wednesday, April 21. Lian allegedly drove up next to a parked Jeep and shot the driver. There was no interaction between them before the shooting, the release says. The victim’s condition has been upgraded to critical, it says. ....

DOYLESTOWN, PA What started off as a routine traffic stop in Bedminster Township Friday night led to a drug investigation and the seizure of nearly $4 million worth of illicit drugs, the Bucks County District Attorney s Office said Thursday.
Bedminster Township Officer officer James Zukow pulled over a Jeep for swerving and the driver, later identified as 28-year-old Christian Ochoa, of Laredo, Texas, consented to a search, which led to the seizure of one kilogram of heroin and fentanyl and nine kilograms of cocaine with a street value of $1.2 million. ....
