Did they expect such a success when they introduced the first generation of the Nissan Rogue? Hard to believe. Why did they call it the “Rogue”, anyway? Probably, they were trying to bring a suggestion of freedom and noncompliance in the picture, otherwise the concept of this compact SUV is anything but rogue. And, in the form of the third generation, it has evolved promisingly.
autoevolution 20 Apr 2021, 9:45 UTC · by Hard to tell if the Japanese were happy or not with sales of the previous Nissan Pathfinder generation, but we have serious doubts these cars managed to convince the expected number of customers. Now, having a look at the 2022 model, we feel an optimistic vibe in the air, and there are some concrete reasons for this. The debut of the Nissan Pathfinder model series took place about 35 years ago. Its first iteration had a timidly progressive kind of design wrapping a fairly traditional technical configuration: ladder chassis, longitudinally mounted engine, switchable 4x4 transmission with transfer box, and low range, with available manual and automatic gearboxes.

Four of its vehicles in the 2021 lineup have earned top safety ratings from the Insurance Institute of Highway Safety. Three of the vehicles — the nimble Rogue, sophisticated Maxima, and sleek Altima — earned the agency’s highest rating, a Top Safety Pick+. The agency gave the 2021 Nissan Sentra its next highest rating, Top Safety Pick. Nissan Maxima To earn top ratings from the IIHS, vehicles have to achieve a “good” score in six crashworthiness tests. Front crash prevention worthy of an “advanced” or “superior” score after vehicle-to-vehicle and vehicle-to-pedestrian testing has to be available on the models, too.

February 04 2021 The all-new 2022 Nissan Frontier and Pathfinder models will arrive at area Nissan dealers this summer. Nissan North America has unveiled two important new vehicles for the 2022 model year. The updated Nissan Frontier mid-size pickup truck has been anticipated for several years in this resurgent market segment. The all-new Frontier design combines an aggressive, modern style with elements inspired by the iconic Nissan Hardbody, a truck that burnished its rough and rugged reputation winning off-road races in the 1980s and 1990s. The updated Frontier is powered by a standard 310-horsepower, 281 lb-ft, 3.8-liter direct injection V6 engine. This engine was introduced on the Frontier in 2020 and has proven popular with smaller truck buyers.
5 February 2021 12:58 pm / 4 comments Nissan has unveiled the new 2022 Nissan Frontier midsize truck, which is set to go on sale in the US this summer. This bold-looking new truck replaces the D40 Frontier (we know it as the “Mother Trucker” Navara), which has been in the US since 2005. No typo there, 2005. North America did not get our current D23 Navara NP300, which was facelifted late last year, so this update is much needed there. The platform has been retained, but the Frontier body is all new. As with most trucks, design is mostly focused on the face, and the Frontier features a square front end with a big grille (Frontier name above the new Nissan logo) and chiseled hood, framed by “precision interlocking” headlights.
