After a yearlong hiatus, The University of Texas at Arlington’s Maverick Speakers Series is back in a new virtual format for its 13th season.
Vivek Wadhwa, technology entrepreneur and bestselling author, kicks off the new Virtual Maverick Speakers Series this month. The talk will be livestreamed at uta.edu/maverickspeakers and is free to watch.
Wadhwa will speak on “Navigating Technological Change at Light Speed” on Thursday, March 25, at 7:30 p.m. His latest book, Your Happiness Was Hacked: Why Tech is Winning the Battle to Control Your Brain and How to Fight Back, was published in 2018. ....
