DETROIT – Welcome to Saturday, Motown!
We’ll have some sun and clouds for the rest of today with higher temperatures. We can shed our winter coats after a cold start. It becomes chilly again tonight. It will be seasonably mild tomorrow. After milder conditions Monday, wintry conditions return Tuesday and Wednesday. Yes, snowflakes return. Yikes!
Saturday afternoon will be partly sunny and delightful. A jacket or coat were needed this morning to stay warm, but we can get away with a sweatshirt and jeans in the afternoon. With enough sunshine, temperatures reach the middle and upper 50s. The average high is 60 degrees.

Monday NJ weather: More April showers, with dry patches too

Monday NJ weather: More April showers, with dry patches too
The Bottom Line
As we approach the midpoint of April, we have a pretty unsettled forecast here. Full of April showers, clouds, and unseasonably cool and “blah” weather. But let’s pay special attention to the patches of dry, pleasant weather along the way - specifically Tuesday and next weekend.

Monday
Believe it or not, this is record-breaking rain. Daily rainfall records don’t mean much, but with 0.91” on Sunday, Atlantic City International Airport had the wettest April 11th on record. (Previous record 0.90” in 1958.)
We did need the rain, with April rainfall still running a bit below normal. (I just lament my leaking roof and my son’s cancelled Little League practice!)

DETROIT – Welcome to Saturday night, Motown.
The Detroit area gets a healthy dose of moisture tonight and tomorrow. Our lawns and gardens will soak it up nicely, but be careful while traveling. It becomes chilly overnight and the rest of the weekend. It becomes a bit milder and more spring-like the rest of next week. This includes more spring showers for the first half of it.
Saturday night will be rainy chillier. Heavy downpours and gusty winds are possible after midnight. As much as a half inch of rain or more of rain is possible by dawn. Temperatures fall to near 50 degrees by Sunday morning.

thank you very much for joining us. Storm Wash. Nine Weather on the Web Here we are another week, and this one well, featuring quite a few changes as we try to shake the cloud cover out of here. Could be a couple of spots showers into the day tomorrow, but the bulk of them the farther east and north that you do go a fair amount of sun the rest of this week. Still, some cloud cover out there, but turning a bit milder except a little bit cooler due to that onshore wind. Developing right near the coast for tonight could be a passing evening shower. Best opportunity and they will be in the form of snow will be in northern locales. Great Northwoods, northern part of the White Mountains. Low to mid thirties here overnight tonight and clouds giving way to some parts of clearing south. The winds still active through the evening and then lighter winds by early tomorrow morning thirties to around 40. Big storm well offshore winds on the back side of it, out of the north and northwest quite gusty through the day tomorrow, but they'll be relaxing somewhat so not as strong in the wind department. Just a bit breezy later tonight and into the day tomorrow, behind all of that narrow sliver of fair skies and that will try to ease in here sometime later Wednesday or Thursday into Friday. So a bit more sun during that time and slightly milder temperatures, although not as warm as what we're seeing. Well off to our West seventies and eighties today. But we'll go back into the sixties except fifties right along the coast. Take a look at the forecasted highs tomorrow near 50 up north, mid upper fifties to near 60 elsewhere, and that's where the blend of clouds and partial sun and a couple of showers darting through. But most of the day should be rain free for Wednesday. Clouds and sunshine lower sixties inland, lower fifties at the coast. Similar temperatures, a bit more sun on Thursday and on into Friday, slightly milder by then, and then we get to the weekend. At this point, it looks like the next storm will hold off until Sunday night into Monday, with some showers, but leading up to that point mostly dry Saturday and a good part of Sunday

04/05 Ryan's "Higher Humidity" Monday Night Forecast

Born in Tennessee, raised in Arkansas, and now a resident of Mississippi, Ryan Mahan is proud to be a Southerner and to belong to this community. A former student of Millsaps and a graduate of the University of South Alabama, he now has a Bachelor of Science in Meteorology with a focus in Broadcast.
Ryan’s passion for weather began in 2005 after witnessing the destruction that Hurricane Katrina had on his family and home. With nothing but a point-and-shoot digital camera in hand, he walked miles up and down the Coast to document the tragedy and its effects on the area and people around him. Using social media, he posted the photos and the stories behind them. The reaction from his peers inspired him to pursue a career doing what had up until then been a hobby.
