Après deux années de restauration, le bosquet de la Reine dans les jardins du château de Versailles rouvre au public, enrichis de nouvelles plantations, hommage à Marie-Antoinette.   
Quand on pense jardins de Versailles et Marie-Antoinette, ceux du Petit Trianon viennent aussitôt à l’esprit. Mais l’épouse du roi Louis XVI imposa aussi sa marque dans un bosquet. Lequel a d’ailleurs gardé son nom.
Le bosquet de Marie-Antoinette a été créé à la place de celui du Labyrinthe
Situé dans le prolongement du parterre de l’Orangerie, le bosquet de la Reine (nommé à l’origine bosquet de Venus) avait été créé spécialement pour Marie-Antoinette en 1776, afin qu’elle puisse s’y promener avec ses proches à l’écart des autres personnes présentes à Versailles. Il prenait la place du bosquet du Labyrinthe, tracé en 1665-1666 et enrichi une dizaine d’années plus tard d’un ensemble de 39 fontaines figurant les animaux des fab ....
