Lehigh County’s district attorney revealed several people were accosted by the armed gunman who fatally shot a man at a Wawa, then later shot himself.
A news release Wednesday from District Attorney James Martin says Za Uk Lian, 45, of South Whitehall Township pointed the gun at a crowd of people, then confronted two people to try to take their vehicles after he allegedly shot and killed 31-year-old Ramon Ramirez.
The release says Lian arrived at the Wawa on Route 100 in Upper Macungie at 4:48 a.m. on Wednesday, April 21. Lian allegedly drove up next to a parked Jeep and shot the driver. There was no interaction between them before the shooting, the release says. The victim’s condition has been upgraded to critical, it says. ....

The Lehigh County coroner has released the name of the woman who was shot during an argument in a Walmart parking lot.
The coroner says 20-year-old Nicolette Law of Allentown was pronounced dead at the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest on Friday.
Her death has been ruled a homicide. An autopsy is scheduled for Monday.
