Sasse brushes off censure threat by Nebraska GOP

Republican Sen. Ben Sasse dismissed concerns that the Nebraska GOP State Central Committee may censure him, slamming their weird worship of former President Donald Trump.
In a video published to Sasse s YouTube channel on Thursday, the senator claimed that some members of the committee were misdirecting their ire at the anti-Trump Republican, claiming that the members are angry about life.
“Nebraskans aren’t rage addicts, and that’s good news. You are welcome to censure me again, but let’s be clear about why this is happening: It’s because I still believe, as you used to, that politics isn’t about the weird worship of one dude,” he said. ....

1. Whereas, on December 11, 2020, the Supreme Court of the United States denied a hearing of the lawsuit Texas vs. Pennsylvania, Georgia, Michigan, and Wisconsin the complaint enjoined by 18 states, including Nebraska;
2. Whereas, citing lack of standing, the Court refused to consider merits, though the complaint is original jurisdiction, and the issue a violation of the Equal Protection clause (5th and 14th Adm.) of the U.S. Constitution;
3. Whereas evidence of fraud committed individually by those casting ballots, and corporately by state election officials is overwhelming, and includes over 428 individual affidavits, signed under penalty of perjury; ....
