Baked Shrimp is ready for summer. The event is presented by Ed Maier's Asbury Park-based ElmThree Productions and Arrowhead Ranch in association with Baked Shrimp, a Long Island, New York-based jam trio. “It’s been a perpetual lovefest of just music and learning and trying to build the scene back,” said Baked Shrimp drummer Jager Soss, who between classes in the jazz studies program in the Conservatory of Music at Purchase College, State University of New York, has been planning the festival with his bandmates. “All us working musicians kind of took a stumble this last year and some change,” Soss said, “so my friends and I, we’re all just trying to build it back a little bit, day to day.”

Together, they form the powerhouse that is PEAK. PEAK has spent the majority of 2020 focused on writing, rehearsing, and recording an album in their hometown studio. Terry Scott Valentine Site staff LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) — Terry Scott Valentine, 55, of La Crosse passed away at his home unexpectedly on Saturday, December 12, 2020. He was born in La Crosse on July 15, 1965, to Clair and Beverly (Jerome) Valentine. He was the youngest of four children. His parents joked that they had him later in life so he could take care of them when he was older, and he wholeheartedly did. Growing up on 29th Court, he was surrounded by some of the most supportive and adventurous neighbors that he would tell stories about for years to come. Terry attended Harry Spence Elementary, Mount Cavalry and was a proud graduate of Central High School’s class of 1984, where he made some lifelong friends. After graduation, Terry enlisted in the Air Force.
