i used to be a lecturer in constitutional law. i was kind of surprised at how defensive i was about this. it's pretty clear that ambassador rice misled congress and the american people about what happened. the question i have is was it intentional, or did she not know what was going on? and we still don't know what the facts are because we've had so many different scenarios rolled out by the administration we are left to wonder what the truth is. so that's why these hearings tomorrow morning, in the house intelligence committee, while future hearings with secretary of state hillary clinton later on, are very important to get to the bottom -- get to the truth. so i thought the president was showing a little bit of defensive reaction there. jenna: senator, you mentioned something about multiple hearings that are taking place on this topic. some of your colleagues have suggested a senate select committee so that some of this investigation and the hearings can be streamlined. what are your thoughts on that?
