Roads are dangerous in houston. The city was caked in ice following yesterdays severe weather. Schools there are closed for a second day in a row. Those 2 to 4 inches are coming to somewhat of a surprise to the folks here in raleigh and beyond because we just got snow just two weeks ago, and to see snow again is quite amazing. So we are preparing here in north carolina. The governor, roy cooper, has declared a state of emergency. That just means here at least in north carolina, Emergency Responders and department of transportation crews are going to be able to move throughout the state to those areas from the mountains to here in central north carolina, theyre expected to see as much as 5 inches of snow. That snow has not begun to fall quite yet, but its expected to fall later this morning, so crews have already brined the roads. They began that process just two days ago.
