The development will sit on a two-parcel site at
900 and 914 E. Trinity Lane next to the Metro Police Department East Precinct and potentially offer residential, retail, restaurant and creative maker/office space.
Wood Partners will undertake the project but needs to acquire the property, which covers about 5.9 acres and sits adjacent to Ellington Parkway. The Metro Planning Commission approved a rezoning last week and a community meeting recently had been held.
Atlanta-based Brock Hudgins Architects is designing the buildings for the project, a name and detailed renderings for which have not yet been released. A 2024 completion is eyed with the effort seemingly to incorporate at least portions of some existing structures on the site.
