Santa Clarita Clocks To ‘Spring Forward’ For Daylight Saving Time
On Sunday clocks are set to “spring forward” an hour with the start of Daylight Saving Time, and a good time to check batteries and smoke detectors.
Clocks are scheduled to spring forward an hour at 2 a.m. Sunday resulting in the sun rising and setting at a later time than the norm for the last six months.
With the time change happening every six months, officials with the American Red Cross are urging Santa Clarita homeowners to let time change be a reminder to check batteries and smoke detectors.
