The U.S.-Middle East Partnership Initiative: Building Hope for the Years Ahead

Secretary of State Colin Powell announces a new Administrationinitiative that places the US firmly on the side of change for theMiddle East.  He outlines a framework for cooperation known asthe U.S.-Middle East Partnership Initiative that will serve as abridge between the US and the Middle East.
