before i do i want to say thank you to the people who have made the past seven years on "inside politics" happen. there is a tiny show staff down that hall in the control room, i am forever in your debt. to the operations team some of them right here in front of me, directors, audio, lighting, cameras, floor managers. you don't get to see them, they are the miracle workers of television news. to the ladies of zen as i call them down the hall, the hair and makeup team, they keep us sane. to the reporters who sit around our table, this show from day one made its mission reporting not what people think, but what great reporters know. so many of the best in the business have been so generous in sharing their time and their work. i can never thank them enough. and to this place, you might have read somewhere in recent days there's a little uncertainty at cnn these days. yes, we have some challenges, some specific to us, some shared across the entire industry. we will get through them. and we will be better for them. this is year 24 year for me, this is the greatest news organization on the plarnt.
