After the 100% road policy developed in France since the post-war period, the train is back in favour. Transporting hundreds of people simultaneously, using an increasingly low-carbon energy source, is a way of controlling our greenhouse gas emissions. However, while many European countries are increasingly relying on trains, the infrastructure requirements are colossal. Billions of euros are needed to build the mobility of tomorrow. Thanks to European funds, new routes are opening up, offering development opportunities in new markets that will be opened up.
