The Delaware FOP Lodge 5, which represents two of the officers involved, denounced the video s release.
In a statement, the FOP said in part choosing to release this video now undermines the credibility of any future legal proceedings that may arise from this incident.

Hayward police fatally shot a motorist they say struck police vehicles “multiple times” at a Motel 6 parking lot on Tuesday morning.
Police said the shooting happened as they tried to detain passengers in a blue Volvo with a white paper license plate which matched the description of a car involved in a recent robbery.
Hayward police officers noticed the vehicle on Monday “circling the area” where several robberies had taken place but it sped away when police tried to make contact.
