Three Suspects Arrested Following Standoff At Residence

28-year-old Nicholas Dale Johnson of North Bost Street in Statesville, 48-year-old Kimberly Gayle Matheson of Hugo Lane in Statesville, and 33-year-old Laura Ann Burchette of BJ Drive in Conover were all arrested by Iredell County Sheriff’s Officers. They’re all charged with two felony counts apiece of breaking and entering and larceny after breaking and entering.
Johnson is additionally charged with misdemeanor resisting a public officer and was served with several outstanding felony warrants. Matheson and Burchette were each additionally charged with felony possession of stolen property. A fourth suspect was arrested in this case and charged with a misdemeanor offense.

Two Suspects Arrested In Robbery Case

45-year-old Corry Tolliver and 56-year-old Pamela Wingfield were arrested Monday (May 17) by Statesville Police Officers. They’re each charged with felony counts of common law robbery and larceny.
On Saturday (May 15) at approximately 6:00 a.m., Statesville Police Officers responded to Sheetz on Wilkesboro Highway in reference to a reported robbery. When officers arrived on the scene, they spoke with the clerk, who said the suspect entered the store and asked how to get to the Fifth Street Shelter. The clerk, using a notepad, started writing down the directions. The suspect asked the clerk if he could use the notepad, to which the clerk handed him a sheet of paper from the pad.
