pretty arbitrary? >> it is. and you almost get the sense that there's something they know that they're not sharing. they come up with these numbers that are not rooted in any particular science. sort of this idea they're walking around with these geiger counters. you've seen the images where they're testing the air obviously. they're waving them over people. that's really meaningless. that doesn't tell you anything about an individual's potential exposure. so a lot of it just doesn't seem to make sense. i don't know if that's by design or it's -- they're not sure what they're doing right now. >> tom foreman, you've been doing explainers on what the situation is, in terms of, there's a lot of terms, frankly, people don't know much about. what have you been looking into? >> you mentioned the three places. the three reactors are very close to each other when we talk about where the concern is. and i can give you a sense of the size of this. this also helps. this is the video shot of the reactors at some time in the past. you get a sense of how big the actual reactor is.
