can they stop the caravan? should they stop the caravan? mexico's ambassador to the u.s. is jeronimo. thank you for being with us. >> thank you, chris, it's nice to be here on your program. >> the pleasure is mine. the word is maybe a deal has been struck between the u.s. and mexico. do you know any such thing? >> no, chris. last week we had a very important conference here in washington, d.c. that was between the mexico and the united states inviting the central american countries to address precisely these type of issues. and if there was something clear about that conference is that we need to work on two tracks. one is we need to address development in a way that people are not forced to migrate. and we also need to make sure that laws are enforced and that we address security. and what we do with the united states and our central american partners is precisely that.
