the contradictory fog of comments that seems to flood from rudolph giuliani. basically, what we see is that the president and his lawyer are admitting to the american public that the president lied to the country in the course of the campaign. why did he lie about it? there are many possible motives. but i think it's amazing and frankly you watch giuliani over the last week in this incredible blizzard of contradictory statements, lies, half truths, i don't even know what they are, this is about the most unreliable, incredible narrator you could possibly imagine. if he was anyone other than the personal attorney for the president of the united states, you would never have him on cnn or any other news source because he's contradicted himself and lied to us so many times. it's farcical. the idea that this is a representative paid by the president of the united states, it brings discredit upon the presidency and upon the institution in a way that is mystifying to all of us because again, we don't know why he's lying.
