stretches far beyond vermont. carolinas up through connecticut millions of americans are still dealing with irene's aftermath. president obama is headed to check out the flooding damage in new jersey this weekend. what can he expect to see there? >> it's highly unlikely that the president is actually going to see any flooding. the water level has been dropping now at a rate of 2 feet a day. on sunday when the president is there, it is highly likely the posaic river will likely be at flood stage. the aerials shows the progress that is taking place. the president will likely see a great deal of debris and garbage left behind in the aftermath of irene. he also will be able to see some the people living in shelters there. thousands of people are now in need of financial assistance. so far the federal government has declared only five counties in new jersey disaster areas. the governor wants the obama administration to expand that to all 21 counties so that more
