preparing for this summit for a long time. as has the other side. i think they have been preparing for a long time, also. so, this isn't a question of preparation. it's a question of whether or not people want it to happen and we'll know that very quickly. >> dana: dr. is a visiting professor at georgetown university and former special advisor at the u.s. state department. we're glad to have you here today. what are your thoughts heading into this? because the summit was on and then it was off. and now it is very much on unless something happens in the next 24 hours. your thoughts? >> well, this is perhaps one of the most unusual summits i think the world has ever seen between perhaps two of the most unusual leaders the world has ever seen. so i think this is why there is sort of this incredible media and they are making it out to be a circus. but i think that's the reason. it is absolutely the most unusual summit. >> dana: certainly has come together very quickly. i don't see it as a circus.
