here but we're not sure if it's a trend or just, you know, a blip. and we'll see what happens this weekend. >> certainly something to keep an eye on. mark potter, thank you for joining us from mcallen, texas. take care. fire crews in washington state are fighting a wildfire that is zero percent contained and has grown to over 18,000 acres. over 250 firefighters are working to contain the flames that could be a major problem in the pacific northwest through the weekend. >> we are looking at this to be a major concern because the heat is so intense out in that part of the country. temperatures are running about 10 to 15 degrees above average and the brush is dry. there hasn't been any rain there for a long period of time. so that is going to help fuel these fires. the kids are asleep. look what i got. oh my froot loops!
