Developers vying for chance to transform riverfront in Glenw

Two developers hope for the chance to transform space along the Willamette River in Glenwood. 
Glenwood Development, LLC, and LOCALIS Partners presented their plans to transform city-owned property along Franklin Boulevard on Monday night during a meeting of the Springfield Economic Development Agency. 
One has proposed a development that would include the largest hotel and conference center between Portland and San Francisco.
The other has partnered with nearby property owners to propose a sports-anchored development that would help two local teams move up to a higher league of play and create a place for people to live, work and play.
