Andrey Shuklin, a Russian emigre granted asylum in 2012, has been sentenced to 78 months in prison for his role in a multi-state moving scam that victimized more than 1,000 customers. Shuklin operated an enterprise that lowballed customers seeking estimates for their moves, then overinflated the volume of their goods to force them to pay more to get them back, prosecutors said. At Shuklin's direction, the company changed names numerous times to stay ahead of bad online reviews.
