The Nigeria Police Force has announced that police officers who kidnapped a businessman, Omoh Oshoke, in Abuja, the nation’s capital and extorted the sum of N29,900,000 from him in January have been charged. This was confirmed on Sunday by Force spokesperson, Olumuyiwa Adejobi, on X his (formerly Twitter) handle. Adejobi added that the accomplices including one Elizabeth Amos Busayo, a POS operator and one Thomas Michael who aided the policemen in committing the offence have also been arrested.
