For months I assumed this “lost” feeling was to do with being single in midlife. But it’s not. Feeling lost has nothing to do with being single – it’s to do with unhappiness more broadly. As 3am thoughts tumble through my mind like a tornado torturing me away from sleep, I often wonder if I’ll ever be happy again.
