Svallingson, a 29-year-old software engineer, was killed in a hit-and-run crash. Officials responding to the crash at 7 p.m. Tuesday found two pedestrian victims. The crash occurred when a pickup truck collided with a sedan and then careened into the two pedestrians. One of the pedestrians was Svallingson. The driver fled the scene on foot, officials said.
