View Comments The Port of Corpus Christi is partnering with Stabilis Solutions Inc. to build liquified natural gas fueling infrastructure at the port. The port and Stabilis, a Houston company, announced Tuesday they had entered into a Memorandum of Understanding for the structure. Port officials said need for more LNG infrastructure has increased as a growing number of vessels that travel in and out of the port are LNG-powered. "We have a strong commitment to protecting our air attainment status, so by offering LNG as an alternative to diesel as a marine fuel within our gateway, we are evolving our sustainability protocols by reducing mobile source emissions," port CEO Sean Strawbridge said.
