WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – For just over an hour Wednesday evening, Purdue President Mitch Daniels hosted a virtual conversation with two national political figures, discussing topics ranging from the impact former President Donald Trump had on the country to the recent weather-related disaster and power outages across Texas. The event, part of Purdue’s Presidential Lecture Series, was created and co-sponsored by the Purdue University Political Discourse Club. Daniels moderated a discussion between former U.S. Speaker of the House Paul Ryan and former Sen. Heidi Heitkamp.
