NASA's Perseverance rover completes an epic descent to successfully land on Mars, President Biden calls NASA's Acting Administrator to congratulate the space agency and the Empire State Building shines in bright red to honor the incredible mission. These are just some of the top photos this week from Space.com. 
Perseverance's first image of Mars
This is the incredible first image of the Martian landscape from NASA's Perseverance rover, which touched down on Thursday (Feb. 18). This image was beamed back to Earth just minutes after the landing. The photo was taken by hazard cameras attached to the spacecraft.
