One of the first people to file a lawsuit to challenge Michigan’s election results believes President Donald Trump's supporters lost credibility on Wednesday after storming the U.S. Capitol. Edward P. McCall Jr. was one of the Wayne County residents named as a plaintiff in a lawsuit that sought to void the Nov. 3 presidential election, stop certification of the vote by the Wayne County Board of Canvassers and hold a new election. While his lawsuit failed to stop the certification, he still hoped the so-called "Stop the Steal" movement would change the results of the presidential election. However, after rioters caused chaos at the Capitol Wednesday, McCall said he does not believe members of Congress will win by opposing certification of the presidential electors from states such as Michigan, Arizona, Georgia, Nevada, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin.
