he sort of took the church back to its core values of the gospel. the idea of closeness to the earth, closeness to the poor, a spirit of service rather than dominance. and if that's your definition of reform, the fact that this new pope chose -- and also remember, this is the first decision he makes as pope. what happens inside the conclave is when he crosses that two-thirds majority and is elected, the first question is, do you accept? once he says yes, he becomes pope of the catholic church. the second question is what name will you be known by? so this is his first decision and to embrace this franciscan spirit as his first decision i think sends a very clear symbol that in terms of returning the church to the sort of core sense of what it's all about, this is a reform. >> john allen, thank you. father, thank you so much. it's really been a pleasure. >> thanks. >> father cutie, as well. sanjay, as well. let us know what you think about all of the history you have witnessed today. follow me on follow me on twitter
