rising tensions. after a video surfaced last month of eye candy owner using a racial slur to describe african-american customers. >> there is nothing that the owner of eye candy can do, say or be to me j. >> it was filled with emotional testimony >> when i lived through the dog biting days, two the two bathrooms, i'll be damned if i want to see it again. i have faith that this will end. >> reporter: there will be recommendations that others will be expected to follow >> i hope a lot more can come together and realize that we all have to fight this. i also hope that the gay borhood itself listens to things. >> mayor jim kenney attended saying the city is committed. >> reporter: racism is in people's hearts or not. i can't legislate people's hearts but i can legislate how they "eyewitness news". jim kenney also speak out tonight about a series of violent attacks on temple university students and police friday. in one incidents, surveillance video captured a mob of kids beating and robbing three students. another mob assaulted and robbed three people on the 1700 block of cecil b moore avenue. four juveniles have been arrested >> we'll continue to do what we have to do so keep people safe. these things happen, we don't like when they happen. we got to continue to work with everybody and the temple community surrounding, the temple campus and everyone in the city to try to get ourselves in a better place >> police and temple universe say they will increase patrol >> 17-year-old is charged as an adult in a shooting at rittenhouse park. he surrendered over the weekend and is facing numerous charges including attempted murder on october 18th, police say he opened fire on a good samaritan who was trying to stop him from committing a robbery. that good samaritan who was shot multiple times is now recovering. one day after kathleen kane learns her fate only "eyewitness news" goes behind the walls of montgomery county jail where she is expected to serve her sentence. officials say the former pennsylvania attorney general who was convicted of leaking grand jury information will be treated like all other inmates. the door closing bank echos through the gen pop. if kathleen kane chose to live here it would be for the first month of her sentence. this area is known as you 2, the women's wing of the montgomery county corrections facility.
